acoustics are well and clear and you do not need to try very hard with this one

I am so impressed with this stethoscope and am so glad I purchased it. I am a volunteer EMT. I was looking for a better quality stethoscope to make it easier to hear blood pressures and lung sounds. The sound quality of this unit is excellent and very clear. I recently had the opportunity to do a side by side comparison with this Procardio Cardiology Stethoscope and a "famous brand" Cardiology IV. The Procardio was hands down much better. Sounds were louder, audio range seemed wider, the quality of sound was very clear, sounds were very distinct. The only downside that I see on it is the diaphragm is slightly heavier that most others. You quickly get used to it and it is not an issue for me. I definitely am glad that I purchased it.

First off, I am Dual certified FNP(10years)/ENP (5years), with 10 years of prior ICU experience (CCU,MICU,SICU,CVICU,BICU). Also years of Code Team and Rapid Response Team Lead. I have owned Littmann scopes, MDF scopes, ERKA scopes, Peil scopes, and many more. I ordered this after my more recently owned ERKA scope had a fatal accident and due it being painstaking to find or get replacement parts I decided to purchase this stethoscope. I am impressed with its performance thus far. The quality of this particular scope is comparable to any Littmann scope I’ve owned and used… including the master cardiology series. The tubing is flexible with dual lumens, the ear tips are soft and fit well and the bell with its pressure sensitive diaphragm are sturdy and lightweight. Extraneous sounds are minimal with proper use making this one of the better scopes I used in a very long time. The price is almost half that of many top tier stethoscopes of well known brands, making this a great investment for many clinicians. This will be my primary scope to use day in and out, the others will be relinquished to being a backup in case this is lost, stolen or damaged. Very satisfied with this stethoscope!
